Kim K and Kendall
Kim K was signed over to RSPCA care from a home that could no longer cope with the volume of guinea pigs they had ended up with after mis-sexing led to over-breeding. Within a week of admission Kim K gave birth to 2 little girls. She is looking to be rehomed with her daughter Kendal (pictured). Her foster mum shares her experience of looking after the beautiful girls:
“They are both very sweet pigs. Kim K has been a fantastic mum to her two babies and they are a very cute family (you can also clearly see the resemblance).
Kim and Kendall have started to come out of their shell but they are still not yet confident pigs. They will remind you when it is time for breakfast or dinner by giving you some super loud wheeks and will even snatch a piece of pepper or cucumber out of your hand.
They still don’t like being handled and will run and hide initially before coming out to see who it is.”
Kim K is only a young girl, around 6 months old, and her daughter was born on 6th November. They are used to living indoors in a 152cm x 60cm cage. With regular handling and socialising these piggies will make great companion animals for a committed adopter.
